Infant Jesus Shrine, Bhalki:-
The Annual Feast of Infant Jesus Shrine at Bhalki, Bidar was held on 8th, 9th & 10th of November, 2013. On the 8th there was a grand procession with decorated Infant Jesus statue. On the 9th two bishops (Gerald Isaac Lobo of Udupi and Robert Michael Miranda of Gulbarga) celebrated the Holy Eucharist. On 10th being the last day of the celebration, Sunil R Manakare a local deacon was ordained priest for the diocese of Gulbarga. Mr. J R Lobo, MLA from Mangalore was the chief guest for the function. The entire Gulbarga diocese took active part in the entire celebrations. The uniqueness of the programme was that all the priest and religious of Bidar district were seen all the 3 days staying at Bhalki and encouraging the pilgrims to pray better.
